Following a piece written on the official website of The Daily Mail, Angel Cat Sugar is the new toy on the block and is set to take the UK by storm. “Merchandising featuring the cute character is expected to be a must have on children's Christmas lists”, says Liz Thomas, author of this feature.
In this article a comparison is made to Hello Kitty which comes as no surprise since both characters share the same unique cuteness and were created by the same designer, Mrs. Yuko Shimizu.

More licensees signing up to the Angel Cat Sugar licensing programme
This upcoming year many new products will make their appearance at retailers within different territories. UK consumers will be pleased to hear that soon they will be able to walk the streets in Angel Cat Sugar shoes, as well as the women and girls living within Benelux, Ireland, Germany and Italy. Other products hitting UK retailers are foil balloons, posters, gifts, stationery, fashion stickers and wall covering.
Poland and the Baltic states will also get a first taste of Angel Cat Sugar: bags, gift items and stationery will enter this market early next year.
